Nostalgia’s a funny thing. It smooths away the rough edges of unpolished experiences, makes what was once old new and generally massages memories into a more pleasing shape. It also allows cunning businesspeople to make flipping great wads of cash off of the notion that anyone will want to spend money on something they once enjoyed in order to somehow experience that joy again for the very first time, regardless of the actual quality or merit of the thing that they experienced.
