NEW DELHI: Samsung Galaxy S4 last week launched its new flagship smartphone Galaxy S4 with much fanfare in New York. The device will come in two variants – one with an eight-core processor and the other with a quad-core CPU. However, the company has yet not officially revealed the list of countries which are getting eight-core version and the ones getting the quad-core version of the smartphone.

Now, a report in technology news website SamMobile, which has a pretty good record of leaking accurate information about the company, has revealed that India will be among the countries getting the eight-core variant ofSamsung Galaxy S4. This variant has a 1.2GHz CPU to handle small tasks like making calls, while a more powerful 1.6GHz CPU will be used for resource-intensive tasks like gaming.
